Family Living (Parlor)

The Family Living class is led by five facilitators who rotate teaching responsibilities. This class consists largely of empty-nesters – single, married and widowed – and has regular fun outings outside of class as well.

In January this class began a study of the Beatitudes using John Stotts' book on the subject.

The Family Living Class works with the Friendship Class to furnish backpacks for a local grade school.  Each week class members buy food to fill sacks for children who might otherwise have a hungry weekend. The backpacks are filled at the church on Wednesday or Thursday and delivered to the children on Friday as they leave school.  Read some of the thank you notes from these children.
