Have you ever wondered who is responsible for making the church building so beautiful during the Advent Season?  Look at pictures of the group of hardworking members who decorated the sanctuary and other areas of the church.

The Women's Ministry Team hosted the 2011 Festival of Tables on Tuesday, Dec. 6, in the Fellowship Hall.  Tables were decorated by women of the church, who served delicious desserts to their guests.  The program was presented by the Seguin High School Chambers Singers, Thomas Rinn director.

September 25 was a big day for FPCA. The worship services included a celebration of the 55th anniversary of worshiping in our church building. Three former pastors participated in the worship service: Rev. Larry Thomas, Rev. Bob Hanson, and Rev. Larry Spencer. Following the second worship service the Fellowship Team served a fried chicken dinner in the Fellowship Hall for church members and our special guests from Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services. After lunch, FPCA youth and adults joined our guests for an outing to watch the last Texas Rangers home game of the regular 2011 season.

Belize Mission Trip. On March 12th, a team of 15 people, ranging in age from 12-73, traveled to Belize.  The team spent nine days in the country working at Youth Enhancement Services, a school for girls who are unable to attend a main-stream school.  During their time at the school members of the team offered classes in both sewing and computer skills.  They also worked on repairing, improving, and painting the classroom building.   In addition to the time at YES, they were able to spend time visiting with Moises and his family.  Moises is a little boy who was injured in an accident in Belize 2 years ago during the time our mission team was there.  He needed to be transported to Texas for medical care.  He is now back in Belize and doing well.

The Women's Ministry Team sponsored the FPCA Women's retreat, held at Lakeview Conference Center, March 25-27, 2011.  The theme for the weekend retreat was "Keeping it Simple - Slow Down, Be Still, Learn the Art of Savoring Life".  Mally Baum was the guest speaker and group leader.
