Fellowship Hall was the location for two January social events. Porchlights group selection followed a covered dish dinner. After eating and visiting for a while, the Porchlights spring groups were formed by lottery.

The Saints Alive group enjoyed hearing from Dave Lieber who is the Star-Telegram Watchdog columnist.  Dave spoke to the group after a very nice covered dish luncheon. He shared news you can't find anywhere on scams and corporate thievery.  Learn about Dave at www.YankeeCowboy.com or check out his free reports at www.WatchdogNation.com.

The annual Festival of Tables event, December 2, was sponsored by the FPCA Women's Ministry Team.  Each table was decorated in a Christmas theme and the hostesses served special desserts to the guests.  Arlington High School Choir presented a Christmas music program.

The proceeds from tickets sales were donated to Safe Haven.  Guests brought toys to be donated to Arlington Charities.

The FPCA traditional Thanksgiving Dinner was held in Fellowship Hall on November 22.

In October a group of youth and adults drove to Galveston for a short mission work trip. A few men drove down earlier in the week and the rest of the group arrived Thursday evening. This was a continuation of the work begun in the summer to help rebuild Galveston from recent hurricane damage.

In October, our Belize Mission Team provided a dinner and entertainment for FPCA. The team spoke of their experience in Belize. Beth Garner was a special guest at the dinner. Beth is one of the missionaries from the Word at Work Ministries, the organization we are partnered with in Belize.
